Biography
As a Senior Consultant, Thomas serves as the senior authority for the development and deployment of inclusive career pathways in in-demand industries. He champions a holistic systems approach to ensure that employers have consistent access to skilled talent while ensuring students and workers can access meaningful careers. Thomas utilizes humanistic methods to meet people where they are, focusing on creating universal access to education and training opportunities for all Coloradans.
Thomas serves as a senior authority, working with state agencies and external partners to manage complex project plans for CWDC initiatives and Career Pathways tools. He represents the CWDC in stakeholder meetings on career pathway development and supply-side strategies, including facilitating the Education and Training Steering Committee. Thomas also serves as a liaison between the CWDC and the assigned local Workforce Development Boards.
Before joining the CWDC in 2016, Thomas served as a college and university administrator, instructor, and curriculum designer. He holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Student Affairs Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). In his free time, Thomas is an avid off-roading enthusiast and enjoys cooking for family and friends.
