Biography
Kaitlan Stephens is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) and has a private practice, Alpen Hollow Counseling, where she works with individuals exploring career transitions and questions about purpose and direction. She also works as a Career Counselor in the Center for Career and Professional Development at Regis University.
Kaitlan holds two master’s degrees, one in Counseling and Career Development from Colorado State University and another in Bilingual and Multicultural Education from the Universidad de Alcalá in Spain, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Auburn University. Before shifting to counseling, she spent several years teaching in Europe, Asia, and North America.
After making a career change herself, Kaitlan was drawn to career development as a way to accompany and support others through uncertainty with greater clarity and self-compassion. Her love of travel has influenced her approach to counseling, encouraging empathy, curiosity, and a willingness to see the world and oneself from new perspectives.
